Hey family!
Fetch... I was hoping you'd have lots to say so I could just make comments haha. This week went by super fast, and I don't think we did anything!  We knocked on some doors and they didn't answer. We also tried to teach a class but no one came haha!
But I have had a fun week. We haven't had a great amount of work in our sector recently so we did an ''invasion''. Basically 20 missionaries come to our sector and knock on doors. But knowing that this isn't very effective I wrote up like 10 pages with 5 names and addresses on every one for them to go contact. Anybody from less active to future investigator. It went pretty well. We have full names to work with now.
Other than that, this week we went to the Vahia, which is the black market. It isn't as bad as it sounds. We went with some members and some other missionaries. Elder R, from Tennessee and Elder D from Brazil. They are really cool. But Elder R is a little bigger. Like, pretty big. In a normal car it is hard to squish him and two others on a bench seat. But we had the member driving and his wife and daughter, and us 4 in one car. It was ridiculous. And the car was black so it was 100 degrees inside that thing! Elder R sat up front and us 3 with the wife and kid in the back. It was a great moment.
I am still curious if you guys have considered coming to pick me up.  I think a lot about it in this ward because a lot of them know English and it is 5 minutes from the airport and 5 from the Marriott.
I drive past it every week when we go to our zone meetings haha.
Well like I said, not much happened, we painted a house and Elder F INSISTED that we water the paint way down because he painted houses before his mission. He was convinced that the only way we could do it was with 5 layers of paint, it was a pain. We will be going back next week to finish the job because the paint was too thin.
Well, That's all I got.. love you guys.

Hey familia!
It's been a long time, without you my friends, and I'll tell you all about it when I see you again..
sorry, stuck in my head.. But seriously, Felicitaciones! That means.. I think kinda like congratulations, but more happy.. anyways, happy congratulations for your new cats! That's soo cool! I am slowly learning to love cats more and more. Mainly because every house has one, plus there are strays everywhere.. They are pretty cool though.  Obviously not as cool as dogs, but pretty good nonetheless. Hey, speaking of dogs, how does my dog feel about the new cats? I guess he's kinda a scaredy cat anyways jaja.
For the packet, no sé... (I don't know) I want so much! One family just got home from the states and they brought me peanut butter!! So I'm good on that.. The candy is always nice I loved the hichews! That and sourpatch watermelons were awesome. That is it for candy I think.
I think I'll be needing a better pair of rain shoes soon. That story will come, but mine aren't rain proof to say the least.. My comp has echo and they are the best you could get. They are a little pricey though. I would like Star Wars.. Anything Star Wars. I saw a Star Wars R2D2 thermo cup thing here and I went back to get it later but they were gone! It was sad. One other thing is all my shirts I have to wear inside out because they have words on them. So some sort of shirt that is nice, like a polo or two but Light Colors! I wasn't very smart about that part, I got a lot of black... I'm good on socks, got ties for days, although one more will never hurt. I wish I had more pictures of what I did though. I could barely expain my jobs in english let alone spanish... and then a flash drive again with instrumentals or something.. and more pictures on the flashdrive and stuff. And the bible videos. (And send it sooner than later :) my comp says they can take months, he just got one from June)
So this week was fun. It rained one day and it sucks soo much! We have our books in plastic bags, and just walk in the rain. The streets flood so you're walking in water as well. It was no fun. And this isn't even the phenomenon yet! Don't know if you've heard but it is going to rain really hard. The schools here just started having schools Saturdays to try and end earlier because its going to be really bad.  They call it ''El Phenomenon Del Niño. yes. the child phenomenon. Why?  I have no Idea, but whatever. bienvenido a ecuador!
We also did a service project last week, we basically cleaned a blind man's house. It was weird. There was a man hanging from a rope outside painting the apartments as well, so it was super fun.
Anyways, I got a few pics and then gotta go. Love you guys

Hey Family!
Long time no see, hows life? haha
Ok but seriously, it has been a pretty good week, not gunna lie. My first two baptisms :) I did one, and the father of the other kid did the other. It was pretty great not gunna lie.  To explain, the first was M. He just turned 9 and his mom and step dad are members. His real dad is not and wouldn't give permission to him to get baptized. I had honestly never even talked with him before. His parents now want to get sealed, so the father gave permission to get baptized. The step father baptized him.
The other was G. She is 23 and is super cool. My companion had taught her like one time before I got here but I did most the work with her. Her mom was a less active because of the father. Lets just say he was VERY contentious when it came to church so she hadn't come in over 15 years. She is super cool. The father moved out about a month ago so then they could come to church. I placed the baptismal date and baptized her! It was great. She honestly is one of the greatest converts ever. She has a stronger testimony than I do! The spirit was so strong during the baptism. The mom of M spoke, and a friend of G that's a member. They made her cry! It was soo powerful!
But funny story time.. I did some foot modeling for an hermono last week. I'll send some pictures, but it was great. Best service I've ever done ever hah!
Today we also went to some market. Don't remember the name, but it was cool. I believe Ric will post a picture he took. I love him, he is so cool. He tries to take a picture every time he sees me. I just hope I don't get transferred soon.
Well, I can't think of anything else... oh I threw up last week! Woke up at midnight, went to the bathroom, super sick, and threw up. Then I woke up the next day and went back to work haha.
 Love

G and her mom, the 9 year old and his family, and the crazy guy that asks for law of chastity pamphlets.
